Visualisation of the Ukraine Pavilion

Ukraine is the solution
At COP31, Ukraine presents itself not only as a country facing the environmental consequences of Russia’s war, but as a country already developing and implementing practical solutions for recovery, resilience and climate action.
The central idea of this year’s pavilion is “Ukraine is the solution.” The pavilion shows how Ukraine is restoring ecosystems, strengthening energy resilience, adapting to climate challenges and building a greener future even under the conditions of the full-scale invasion.
The visitor journey
Four interconnected zones
Water is the main visual and narrative element of the pavilion. It connects Ukraine and Türkiye through the Black Sea and guides visitors through the entire space. The journey begins with clean, living water, moves through the environmental cost of war, continues to Ukrainian solutions and green recovery, and ends with restored water as a symbol of partnership and shared responsibility.

Through its physical installations, Ukrainian solutions and interactive digital content, the pavilion moves from damage to action and from loss to recovery.
It carries a simple message: Ukraine is not only asking the world to witness the consequences of the war. Ukraine is offering expertise, solutions and partnerships that can contribute to a safer, greener and more resilient future.
