Building effective climate governance for climate mainstreaming during post-war recovery

Ukraine has legislated a climate neutrality target for 2050 and is working on mainstreaming climate aspects into sectoral policies and measures. Participants of the event will discuss Ukraine’s progress in implementation of the National Energy and Climate Plan as an overarching strategic document focused on decarbonization and green transition. They will also exchange views and experience on developing effective climate-governance systems to support science-based, data-driven climate policymaking and implementation.
